The Sierra 18-3485 is a replacement water pump housing designed to restore proper cooling system function on select Yamaha outboard engines. This housing is a direct aftermarket replacement for Yamaha OEM part number 6CJ-44311-00-00, ensuring precise fit and reliable performance.
The water pump housing forms the outer shell of the impeller assembly in the lower unit, directing raw water flow through the engine's cooling circuit. Replacing a worn, cracked, or damaged housing is a critical part of any water pump service interval to prevent overheating and engine damage.
Key Features:
Sierra is a trusted name in marine aftermarket parts, producing components that are engineered to OEM standards for long-lasting reliability on the water. The 18-3485 housing is also compatible as a component in broader water pump repair kits for applicable Yamaha outboard engines.
