Forespar 770003 Lanocote Rust & Corrosion Prevention Grease 16 oz Jar

Forespar Lanocote is a premium anti-corrosion compound specifically formulated to prevent and stop corrosion on all types of metals in harsh marine and industrial environments. This 16-ounce jar contains a lanolin-based protective grease that works through five key mechanisms: displacing water, absorbing corrosion, forming a moisture barrier, penetrating deep into metal surfaces, and providing high lubricity.

Key Features:

• Prevents thread seizure and freeze-up on fasteners, shackles, and fittings exposed to salt water
• Combats galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals such as stainless steel and aluminum
• Seals porous surfaces to block moisture penetration
• Neutralizes acids, alkalies, and salts that cause corrosion
• Protects electronic contacts from corrosion and oxidation
• Facilitates easy disassembly of fasteners even after years of exposure

Ideal for marine applications including rigging hardware, anchor shackles, turnbuckles, winches, and stainless steel fittings on aluminum masts. Applied during assembly, Lanocote ensures hardware can be easily disassembled years later without damage. The heavy-duty formula withstands continuous saltwater immersion and extreme environmental conditions, making it an essential maintenance product for boats, machinery, and equipment in corrosive environments.
