Product Details

The Sierra 116-368-0563 is a low permeation marine fuel hose featuring a plastic barrier veneer with an NBR (nitrile rubber) outer layer tube designed to prevent fuel permeation. This polyester reinforced hose complies with EPA and CARB very low permeation requirements and is weather and UV resistant.

Key Features:

  • 5/16 inch inside diameter, 0.625 inch outside diameter, 10 feet in length
  • Designed for fuel feed applications including gasoline up to 85% ethanol blended fuels, diesel, and all bio-diesel blends
  • Reinforced with two spirals of high strength synthetic fabric
  • High-burst pressure ratings allow for use in fuel injection systems
  • Cover designed to resist heat, ozone, and petroleum products

Certifications and Standards:

  • Meets USCG Type A1-15 requirements for pleasure boats
  • Meets or exceeds SAE J1527 Type A1-15 and ISO 7840 Type A1 standards
  • Approved by USCG, NMMA, and the European community for all pleasure boat fuel systems
  • Temperature rating from -20°F to 212°F

Special layer construction greatly resists permeation by even aggressive blends of gas and alcohols, making this hose ideal for modern ethanol-blended fuels in marine applications including inboard and outboard engines.
