Attwood Marine 9961-1 7lb Slip-Ring Penetrating Fluke Anchor

The Attwood Marine 9961-1 is a 7-pound penetrating fluke anchor designed for superior holding power in mud, sand, and gravel bottoms. This galvanized steel anchor features pivoting flukes that rotate downward to dig deep into the bottom, providing excellent holding power relative to its weight compared to traditional cast anchors.

Key Features:

• Hot-dip galvanized steel construction for maximum corrosion resistance and strength
• Arc-welded assembly maintains consistent fluke-to-shank angles for quick penetration
• Pivoting flukes rotate downward to dig into bottom surfaces
• Slip-ring shank design allows for easy retrieval if anchor becomes snagged
• Compact flat storage when not in use
• 7-pound weight ideal for small to medium boats

This anchor combines proven fluke design with durable construction to deliver reliable holding power for recreational boating applications. The slip-ring feature is particularly useful in rocky or debris-filled bottoms where anchors may become caught, allowing you to pull from the opposite direction for easier recovery.
