Quicksilver 8M6007088 MOB+ Wireless Kill Switch Basepack Americas Grey

The Quicksilver 8M6007088 MOB+ Wireless Kill Switch Basepack is a next-generation, electronically controlled wireless engine cut-off system designed to keep boaters safe on the water. Distributed by Quicksilver (Mercury Marine) for the Americas market in a grey finish, this system replaces traditional corded kill switches with a fully wireless solution that delivers both freedom of movement and reliable engine shutdown capability.

How It Works:

The MOB+ system pairs an xHUB — mounted permanently in the boat — with a wearable xFOB transmitter. The two communicate wirelessly at all times. If the operator falls overboard and moves out of range, the engine is stopped automatically. The system activates with a single button press on the xFOB, making it intuitive and fast to use.

What's Included:

• MOB+ xHUB with mounting hardware
• One xFOB wearable transmitter
• Antenna
• Wiring harness and crimp connectors
• User manual

Key Features:

• Wireless design eliminates the tether cord restriction of traditional kill switches
• xFOB offers up to 300 hours of battery life powered by a standard coin cell battery
• xHUB operates on 12V–24V power and connects directly to your engine stopping system
• Supports Man Overboard (MOB) Mode for automatic engine shutdown if the operator is out of range
• Compatible with optional xBAND (wrist wear) and xTAG (neck/clip wear) accessories for flexible wearing options
• Expandable system — add additional xFOBs to monitor up to four people simultaneously
• Automatic timer function prevents the xHUB from remaining active if the xFOB is left onboard unattended
• One-click user interface for simple, reliable operation
• Grey (Americas) color variant — part of the Quicksilver marine accessories lineup

The Quicksilver MOB+ Basepack is compatible with all boat types and engine configurations. Note: wearable accessories (xBAND or xTAG) are required for full wrist or lanyard wear and are sold separately.
