For use on HD (Heavy Duty) 1.25" prop shaft when installed on Mercury Sport Master, Torque Master I and II, Fleet Master and Verado 5.25" diameter gearcase. Also for use on MerCruiser Bravo I XR and XZ stern drives, Sport Master and shorty Sport Master B
  • Kit includes locking prop nut, 1.5 inch washer, 1.5" cupped belleville washer and 13/16" spacer.
  • Do not operate your engine or drive without all propeller hardware in place.
  • Prop hardware is stainless steel to be durable and corrosion resistant.
  • To aid future propeller removal, grease prop shaft splines with Mercury 2-4-C or Mercury Special Lube 101
  • See your owner's manual or service manual for specific applications and instructions.
  • Produced by Mercury Marine to our stringent original equipment manufacturer specifications to maximize the performance of your Mercury and Mariner outboard or MerCruiser stern drive
  • Propeller nut kit 840383A2 is use on HD (Heavy Duty) 1.25" prop shaft when installed on Mercury Sport Master, Torque Master I and II, Fleet Master and Verado 5.25" diameter gearcase. Also for use on MerCruiser Bravo I XR and XZ stern drives, Sport Master and shorty Sport Master Bravo I XR Sport stern drives. Torque the prop nut to 55 foot pounds (75 Nm). See your owner's manual for installation instructions, the Flo-Torq hub, thrust washers and prop nut part numbers to best fit your engine or drive.
