FatSac: The Original Ballast System for Wakeboarding & Wakesurfing

When it comes to shaping the perfect wake, few names carry more weight — literally — than FatSac. Manufactured by Fly High in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, FatSac is widely recognized as the original ballast bag brand in the wakeboarding and wakesurfing world. Decades of refinement and a relentless commitment to quality have made FatSac the go-to choice for riders who demand more from their boat's wake.

Trusted by the Industry's Best Boat Builders

FatSac's reputation is built not just by enthusiasts, but by the marine industry itself. Leading wake boat manufacturers — including Nautique, Malibu, Axis, Supra, and Moomba — have relied on FatSac ballast systems as OEM equipment straight from the factory. If you've owned a wake boat over the past decade, there's a strong chance it already came equipped with a FatSac inside. That level of industry trust is a testament to the brand's consistent performance and durability.

Built to Last: Premium Materials and Craftsmanship

Every FatSac is proudly handmade in the USA. The flagship Pro X Series bags are constructed from a three-layer Valmex material — the same type used in river rafts and inflatable watercraft — making punctures and abrasions a near-impossibility. FatSac also takes an extra step that sets it apart from competitors: extra-wide seams are not only welded but also taped, adding a second layer of protection against failure. This meticulous attention to detail is what keeps FatSac at the top of the ballast market year after year.

A Complete Ballast Ecosystem

FatSac's product lineup goes well beyond the iconic ballast bag. The brand offers a comprehensive range of ballast pumps — including the popular Supa Tsunami series, engineered for fast, efficient water transfer — as well as an extensive selection of fittings and plumbing components like quick-connect fittings, kink-proof hoses, and splitters to help riders build out fully integrated ballast systems. Whether you're setting up a simple aftermarket bag or a sophisticated automated plumbing network, FatSac has the hardware to get it done right.

Bags for Every Boat Layout

One of FatSac's greatest strengths is the sheer variety of bag shapes and capacities in their lineup. From the classic 750 lb universal bag that fits virtually any compartment, to purpose-built designs like the V-Drive Surf Sac, the Integrated Bow Sac, and the massive Fat Seat for direct drive boats, FatSac engineers ballast solutions for almost every wake boat configuration on the water. Custom-printed bags are also available, letting riders personalize their setup without sacrificing performance.

Wake Enhancement and Accessories

Beyond ballast, FatSac rounds out its catalog with wake enhancement tools and boat care accessories — everything a serious wakeboarder or wakesurfer needs to dial in their setup and keep their boat in top condition. From the Fat Brick for precision weight placement to electrical accessories like twin-socket USB splitters, FatSac thinks of the details so riders can focus on the ride.

Whether you're upgrading a factory ballast system or building a custom setup from scratch, FatSac delivers the quality, variety, and industry-proven performance that serious wake enthusiasts rely on.
