Marinco 1591-FI Marine GFCI Duplex Receptacle 15A 125V Ivory

The Marinco 1591-FI is a 15-amp, 125-volt Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) duplex receptacle engineered specifically for marine environments. Designed to protect against the heightened risk of electrical shock in wet and humid conditions, this outlet is an essential safety component for any onboard AC electrical system.

GFCI technology continuously monitors AC circuit balance and instantly interrupts power when a ground fault is detected — even at current leaks as small as 4–6 milliamps — providing critical protection before a shock can occur. When installed as the first outlet in a series, it also provides downstream protection for additional receptacles on the same circuit.

Key Features:

• 15-amp, 125-volt rating suitable for standard small appliances, chargers, and lamps
• Sensitive GFCI protection triggers at just 4–6 milliamps of current leakage
• Straight-blade design fits standard 15A three-blade plugs
• Installs in standard outlet boxes for easy replacement or new installation
• Downstream protection capability when wired first in a series
• Ivory color finish for a clean, classic appearance
• Meets ABYC requirements for GFCI installation in heads, galleys, machinery spaces, and weather decks

Marinco has been a trusted manufacturer of marine and RV electrical components since 1972, building products to withstand the demanding conditions of saltwater and outdoor environments. The 1591-FI is the go-to GFCI receptacle for boaters and marine electricians seeking a reliable, code-compliant solution.
