The ACR Electronics RCL-85 LED Searchlight (MPN: 1956) is a high-performance, wireless-controlled marine searchlight designed for small to medium-sized recreational powerboats and light commercial vessels. Delivering 240,000 candelas of output from six OSRAM High Flux 30W LEDs, the RCL-85 provides a maximum beam distance of 3,215 feet (980 meters) — over half a nautical mile — making it ideal for night-time navigation, docking maneuvers, buoy and landmark illumination, man overboard searches, and night fishing.

Installation is straightforward: simply run 12V or 24V DC power to the unit and all operations are handled wirelessly via the included handheld remote. The searchlight rotates 350° continuously and tilts 90° (45° up and 45° down from the home position) with an 8-degree spot beam angle. A built-in strobe function is available for emergency signaling.

Built to withstand harsh marine environments, the RCL-85 features an IP68-rated water-resistant light head housing all electronics — a more protective design than base-mounted alternatives. The UV- and weather-resistant ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) housing and lens are fully sealed for long-term durability. The LED light source is rated for up to 50,000 operating hours, eliminating the need for bulb replacements. This unit is finished in white (SKU 1956); a black version is available as SKU 1957.

It's the information I needed for my boat motor. The only issue I had with this maintenance manual was the way the manual was finished. I've worked the the graphic arts industry for 50 years and am well versed in print finishing. The book will no doubt stay together, however there is excessive glue on the spine as the cover wraps around the front/back that distracts from the overall appearance.
