PROP ONE 2011 Silicone Remover 200ml Marine Grade Propeller Coating Remover

The PROP ONE 2011 Silicone Remover is a marine-grade chemical remover formulated to strip PropOne silicone coatings from propellers and underwater running gear. Simply brush it on and let it penetrate — no grinding, sanding, or abrasive tools required. It can also serve as a general-purpose silicone remover for removing thin coatings on compatible surfaces.

Key Features:

• Easy brush-on application — apply approximately 2mm thick and allow to work
• Deep penetration — effectively removes multiple stubborn layers
• Marine grade formula — DCM (Dichloromethane) and NMP (N-Methylpyrrolidone) free
• Reduces labor — eliminates the dust and noise associated with mechanical removal methods
• 200ml coverage — covers approximately 3 square meters per bottle

Directions for Use:

1. Remove all marine growth from the surface before applying.
2. Apply Silicone Remover approximately 2mm thick using a brush.
3. In hot or windy conditions, cover the treated area with cling wrap to prevent drying out.
4. Do not allow the remover to contact water. Leave in contact for 2–3 hours or until the coating has softened.
5. Remove with a stiff nylon or wire brush using a circular scrubbing motion.
6. Wipe off any remaining residue with a xylene or toluene-soaked cloth.
7. If any coating remains, apply a second coat.

Important: Do not use on plastic surfaces or resin-impregnated wood fibreboard materials. For plastics or other delicate surfaces, test a small area first to confirm compatibility. Pairs with the PropOne Paint Stripper for full removal of PropOne Primer Coat, paints, varnishes, and lacquers.
