Whitecap Industries 60883 Teak Dowel Pins for Louvered Door - Package of 8

The Whitecap Industries 60883 is a package of 8 teak dowel pins designed specifically for use with Whitecap's Build-Your-Own Louvered Teak Door system. These dowel pins are used to join the stiles and side rails together when assembling a custom-sized louvered door, and are a required component for completing the door build.

Key Features:

• Dimensions: 1-1/2" length x 1/2" diameter
• Quantity: Package of 8 — sufficient for one complete door assembly
• Material: 100% kiln-dried, fully aged high-quality teak wood sourced from Thailand
• Naturally high oil content for exceptional durability and long service life
• Resists warping, rotting, and insect damage — ideal for marine and outdoor environments
• Withstands harsh conditions including salt air, UV exposure, rain, and temperature extremes
• Compatible with the full Whitecap Build-Your-Own Louvered Door component system (side rails, stiles, and slats sold separately)

Note: Dowel joint holes must be drilled by the builder — they are not pre-drilled in the rails or stiles. Precision alignment is required, and first-time builders are advised to practice on scrap material before final assembly.

Teak can be maintained with annual applications of teak oil or sealer to preserve its warm golden color, or allowed to weather naturally to a distinguished silver-gray patina that can be restored with teak cleaner and oil.
