The Balmar 621-100-K6 is a high-output marine alternator from Balmar's popular 621 Series, delivering 100 amps at 12 volts in a compact, small-case design built for recreational marine applications. Featuring a single-foot (spindle) mount and a K6 serpentine belt pulley, this alternator is engineered to replace most OEM alternators on a wide range of marine gasoline and diesel engines.
A standout feature of the 621 Series is Balmar's patented Smart Ready® Technology, which allows the alternator to operate either with its built-in internal regulator or paired with an external multi-stage voltage regulator such as the Balmar ARS-5 or Max Charge series. The fixed 14.1-volt internal charge controller serves as a reliable stand-alone or backup regulator, while external regulation unlocks full multi-stage charging for larger battery banks and less frequent engine duty cycles common in sailing and cruising applications.

This alternator is sold as a standalone unit. For a complete charging system, Balmar offers kit versions that include an ARS-5 or Max Charge voltage regulator, temperature sensors, and mounting hardware. Also replaces Crusader RA097010A and Balmar 621-100-SR-IG.
