Dr. Shrink DS-712W Preservation Tape 2" x 108' White Hull Tape 10 Mil

The Dr. Shrink DS-712W Preservation Tape — also commonly known as Hull Tape — is a tough, conformable, waterproof tape engineered for securing shrink wrap covers during boat storage and transportation. Constructed from oriented polyethylene with a synthetic rubber-based adhesive, this white tape bonds reliably to most surfaces across a wide range of temperatures.

Built to a robust 10-mil thickness, the DS-712W features integrated UV inhibitors that protect against sun degradation during extended outdoor storage. The tape is specifically designed to minimize adhesive residue upon removal, making it a trusted choice for sealing shrink wrap edges directly to boat hulls and other protected surfaces.

Key Features:

• Dimensions: 2 inches wide x 108 feet long
• Thickness: 10 mil oriented polyethylene backing
• Adhesive: Synthetic rubber-based for strong, reliable bonding
• UV Inhibitors: Built-in UV protection for long-term outdoor storage
• Waterproof: Fully waterproof construction
• Color: White
• Designed for minimal adhesive residue on removal
• Conforms easily to curved and irregular surfaces

Important Note: Although this tape is designed to minimize residue, adhesion is very strong on most surfaces. The top layer of paint or finish may be affected on painted surfaces or woods. Always clean the area thoroughly and test a small section before full application. Clear preservation tape variants are not recommended for applications exceeding 60 days.
