Snappy Teak-Nu Formula No. 1 is Step 1 of the proven two-part teak cleaning and restoration system. This quart-size cleaning solution tackles the toughest weathering and staining on teak surfaces — removing gray weathering, old oils, dirt, rust, fish blood, fuel stains, mildew, and old sealers — without the time-consuming and destructive labor of sanding.
This is a professional-strength formula engineered to work in conjunction with Snappy Teak-Nu Formula No. 2. The chemical reaction between Step 1 and Step 2 is what produces that fresh-sanded, golden teak appearance. Formula No. 1 must be used together with Formula No. 2 to achieve complete results.

Apply Formula No. 1 to a wet deck and spread evenly with a bristle brush. Once the treated area darkens to a uniform dark brown, scrub lightly with a coarse bristle brush, then rinse thoroughly before applying Step 2. Note: Immediately rinse any drips or spills off painted, varnished, aluminum, or fiberglass surfaces, as Formula No. 1 may cause damage if not promptly removed.
