YakGear TGR10 Aluminum Tri-Grip Rivet Kit for Kayak Rigging - 10 Pack

The YakGear TGR10 Aluminum Tri-Grip Rivet Kit is an essential fastening solution for kayak and canoe rigging projects where traditional mounting methods fall short. When interior access is limited or impossible, these aluminum tri-grip rivets provide a strong, reliable alternative to stainless steel screws and lock nuts — opening up a wider range of rigging and accessory mounting options on your watercraft.

What sets tri-grip rivets apart is their unique three-leg flaring action: as installation pressure is applied, the back of the rivet expands into three legs, creating an exceptionally strong mechanical hold without requiring access to the back side of the mounting surface. Each rivet includes a rubber gasket that compresses upon installation to form a waterproof seal, helping to keep water from penetrating the hull at the fastener point.
