Seachoice 91983 Surface Conditioning Disc 3" Medium Grit R-Type

The Seachoice 91983 is a premium 3-inch R-Type surface conditioning disc designed for professional-grade surface preparation and finishing on various metals. This medium-grade disc features an aggressive 80-120 grit equivalent rating, making it ideal for removing rust, paint, corrosion, and surface contaminants without gouging the base material.

Key Features:

• 3-inch diameter disc with R-Type quick-change mounting system for fast disc changes
• Medium grade abrasive (80-120 grit equivalent) balances aggressive cutting with smooth finishing
• Non-woven construction resists loading and provides consistent performance throughout disc life
• Suitable for use on aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and other metal surfaces
• Ideal for marine applications including boat repair, metal fabrication, and restoration work
• Compatible with standard R-Type roloc quick-change holders and die grinders

This surface conditioning disc excels at blending, deburring, cleaning welds, and preparing metal surfaces for painting or coating. The open-web construction allows the disc to conform to contours while preventing material buildup that can reduce effectiveness.
