Airmar UST850S-P17-N2 UST850 Smart Sensor NMEA 2000 Ultrasonic Speed & Temperature Plastic Housing

The Airmar UST850S-P17-N2 is an ultrasonic speed and temperature smart sensor featuring a plastic housing and NMEA 2000 connectivity. With no moving parts, it eliminates the maintenance demands of traditional paddlewheel transducers while delivering high-precision readings across a wide range of vessel types and sizes — from performance powerboats to cruising sailboats.

Designed as a direct retrofit for Airmar's ST650 and ST850 Series installations, the UST850 can be swapped in without hauling the boat out of the water. The sensor combines ultrasonic speed and water temperature measurement in a single compact housing, updating data up to 10 times per second for real-time responsiveness at the helm.

Key Features:

• No moving parts — ultrasonic technology eliminates paddlewheel fouling and maintenance
• Ultrasonic speed and temperature combined in one housing
• Speed range: 0.1 to 50 knots, suitable for powerboats and high-performance sailing
• Fast data update rate — up to 10 readings per second
• NMEA 2000 output for plug-and-play integration with compatible chartplotters and multifunction displays
• Plastic housing construction
• Direct retrofit into existing Airmar ST650/ST850 Series thru-hull fittings — no haul-out required
• Compatible with power and sail boats of all types and sizes

The UST850S-P17-N2 is engineered for boaters who demand reliable, maintenance-free performance. As a true Smart Sensor from the company that pioneered the technology, it delivers precise, real-time data directly to your onboard network.
