The Sierra 18-99199 is a 30-micron canister fuel/water separator (FWS) filter designed as a direct replacement for the Racor R12P series. Built to withstand the demanding marine environment, this spin-on filter element delivers reliable fuel protection for inboard and outboard marine engines.

Key Features:

• 30-Micron filtration media — over 90% efficient at removing particles as small as 30 microns
• Meets OEM specifications for removal of emulsified water from the fuel system
• Epoxy-coated filter canister for enhanced corrosion resistance in saltwater and marine environments
• Spin-on design for fast and simple element replacement
• Includes replacement gasket and O-ring for maximum leak prevention
• Helps prevent engine damage including fouled injectors and premature wear of downstream filters
• Replaces Racor R12P spin-on filter element

Important: This filter is only suitable for above deck applications, regardless of whether a metal or clear collection bowl is used.

Sierra products are engineered to meet the demands of today's high-horsepower marine engines and are built to meet or exceed the original equipment parts they replace.
