The Torklift International C3221 True Frame-Mounted Rear Truck Camper Tie Down represents the industry's safest and most reliable method for securing truck campers. This patented design incorporates four independent tie down points that bolt directly to the truck frame to dramatically improve handling and stability, providing superior performance compared to bed-mounted alternatives.
Key Features:
- Fast, no-drill installation for simple setup (100% no-drill for trucks 2001 and newer)
- Frame mount construction using forged steel with powder-coated black finish
- No loss of ground clearance with hidden design when not in use
- Two-part system includes a frame-mounted bracket and removable insert held in place with pin and clip
- Sold as a set of two tie downs (rear pair for truck camper installation)
- Side-specific design for driver-side and passenger-side applications
- Legendary Lifetime Warranty for lasting peace of mind
Why Frame-Mounted Matters:
Alternative truck camper tie down systems that attach to the truck bed instead of the frame result in major truck bed and bumper damage, rust and paint cracking. The C3221 eliminates these problems by anchoring to the strongest part of your vehicle—the frame itself. Simply remove the insert when not hauling your camper, and the receiver or bracket stays tucked away and out of sight underneath your truck.
Installation Notes:
To outfit a complete truck camper, one pair of truck camper tie downs are required for the front of the truck camper and one pair for the rear. Four turnbuckles (sold separately) are required to connect the tie downs to the camper anchor points. These truck camper tie downs are designed to work around factory exhaust, though rare cases may require slight exhaust hanger adjustment for clearance.
Designed for small to large truck camper applications, the C3221 delivers the best ride quality in the industry while maintaining your truck's original appearance and ground clearance. Patented design (U.S. Patents 6,260,910 and 6,688,672).
