Sierra PC51170 NMEA 2000 Micro-C Drop Cable, 16 Feet

The Sierra PC51170 is a 16-foot NMEA 2000 Micro-C drop cable designed to connect marine electronic devices to your vessel's NMEA 2000 network backbone. This essential networking cable enables seamless communication between compatible marine electronics, allowing them to share critical data including GPS position, depth, speed, engine parameters, and more across a single standardized network.

Key Features:

• NMEA 2000 Certified: Fully compliant with NMEA 2000 standards for guaranteed compatibility with all certified marine electronics
• 18 AWG Conductors: Heavy-duty wire gauge minimizes voltage drop across connections, ensuring reliable signal integrity over the 16-foot length
• IPX7 Waterproof Rating: Provides reliable, water-tight connections that can withstand temporary submersion, ideal for harsh marine environments
• Premium Metal Collars: Robust metal connection collars create secure, vibration-resistant connections that won't loosen over time
• Gold-Plated Terminals: Copper alloy terminals with gold plating deliver superior electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Universal Compatibility: Micro-C connectors are interchangeable with other NMEA 2000 certified products from any manufacturer

This drop cable is used to connect individual devices like chartplotters, fishfinders, VHF radios, or instrument displays to the NMEA 2000 network backbone via a T-connector. The 16-foot length provides flexibility for installations where devices are mounted at a distance from the network backbone.
