Product Details

The Seachoice 35178 Black Gas Spring delivers reliable, controlled lift assist for a wide range of marine and general applications. Whether used on hatches, storage lids, cupboard doors, windows, hinged tabletops, or access panels, this gas spring provides smooth, consistent support where you need it most.

Unlike traditional mechanical springs, gas springs offer a controlled rate of extension that results in smoother, more predictable movement. The compact and lightweight design makes it easy to integrate into tight spaces without sacrificing performance.

Key Specifications:

  • Extended Length: 20.0 in.
  • Compressed Length: 12.0 in.
  • Stroke: 8.0 in.
  • Force: 120 lbs.
  • End Cap: P10
  • End Fittings: Socket-style, fits 10mm balls used on most standard brackets
  • Finish: Black

The socket-style end fittings are compatible with 10mm ball studs found on most commercially available mounting brackets, making installation straightforward. This gas spring is an ideal replacement or upgrade for OEM-style lift supports in marine, RV, and general hardware applications.

2nd day air was much pricier than your competitor, but your product price was better.

I called and spoke with Dominique (think that was her name) - she was located in New Hampshire - very nice and helpful - went out of her way ....great customer service - so I decided to buy from your company - 1st time and hopefully I am still happy when the product arrives :-)
