The Husky Towing 33173 5th Wheel Wedge is a simple yet essential accessory for RV owners who use a pin box with their Husky 5th wheel hitch. This wedge locks the pin box securely in place, preventing unwanted swiveling within the hitch head and ensuring a stable, reliable connection between your tow vehicle and 5th wheel trailer.
How It Works:
A pin box mounts on top of the 5th wheel hitch head to provide a new pivot point for the kingpin, allowing a wider turn radius for improved maneuverability. Without a wedge, the pin box can swivel freely in its mounting location. The Husky 33173 wedge inserts directly into the hitch head, locking the pin box firmly into position for safe towing.
Key Features:
The Husky 33173 is the correct wedge for customers upgrading their Husky 5th wheel hitch with a Sidewinder or similar pin box system, delivering a secure, wobble-free towing experience.
