Dexter Axle 49545 2x2 Square Galvanized Trailer Axle 2000 lb Capacity Straight

The Dexter Axle 49545 is a 2000-pound capacity straight trailer axle featuring a durable 2" x 2" square tube construction with a corrosion-resistant galvanized finish. This axle is engineered with 1.0° camber per side welded at the spindles for optimal load distribution and tire wear.

Key Features:

• 2" x 2" square tube construction for reliable strength
• Galvanized finish provides excellent corrosion protection
• 1.0° camber per side welded at spindles ensures proper alignment
• Spindles equipped with stainless steel wear sleeves for extended service life
• No pre-drilled spring holes—allows custom positioning or use with adjustable spring mounts
• Includes washers, castle nuts, and cotter pins for complete installation

This axle requires drilling 9/16" holes for spring mounting or can be used with adjustable spring mount hardware, providing flexibility for various trailer configurations. The stainless steel wear sleeves on the spindles reduce friction and extend bearing life, making this an ideal replacement or upgrade axle for utility trailers, boat trailers, and other light-duty applications.
