The Ram Mounts RAM-B-138U is a complete drill-down mounting kit built for secure, adjustable device installation on flat surfaces. Constructed from powder-coated, marine-grade aluminum, this mount is engineered to withstand demanding environments in automotive, marine, motorcycle, and industrial applications.
At the heart of the system is a B-size 1" diameter patented rubber ball and socket design with adjustment points at both ends of the medium-length double socket arm. This allows for near-infinite positioning so you can achieve the ideal viewing or operating angle for your device. The rubber ball and socket construction also actively dampens shock and vibration, helping to protect and extend the life of your mounted device.
The kit includes a 2.5" diameter round drill-down ball base featuring the universal 2-hole and 4-hole AMPS hole pattern, a medium-length B-size double socket arm, and a diamond ball base adapter with a 2-hole AMPS pattern. The diamond base adapter is compatible with most RAM device holders and cradles, as well as many third-party holders using the industry-standard AMPS pattern.
