Product Details

The Edelbrock 8036 Throttle and Automatic Transmission Kickdown Bracket is engineered specifically for small-block Chevrolet engines from 1995 and earlier (non-Vortec applications). This precision-manufactured mounting bracket provides a reliable solution for properly positioning throttle cables, cruise control linkages, and automatic transmission kickdown mechanisms.

Key Features:

  • Application-specific design for SBC 1995 and earlier non-Vortec engines
  • Gold-plated finish for corrosion resistance and visual appeal
  • Accommodates throttle cable, cruise control, and transmission kickdown linkage
  • Ensures proper geometry for smooth throttle operation and transmission downshifting
  • Direct-fit installation for simplified setup

This bracket solves common linkage routing challenges when installing aftermarket intake manifolds or carburetor systems. The gold-plated finish not only provides long-lasting protection against the elements but also adds a professional appearance to your engine bay. Essential for proper transmission kickdown function and throttle response in classic small-block Chevy applications.
