Product Details

The Edelbrock 7228 Exhaust Manifold Gasket Set is engineered specifically for 1968-1987 Ford Big-Block 429/460 V8 engines. These high-performance exhaust gaskets deliver superior sealing for both manifold and header applications in demanding conditions.

Advanced EnCore HTX-900 Construction:

  • High-density non-asbestos fiber/metal core composite material
  • Two graphite-coated, heat-resistant fiber blended sheets
  • Mechanically and chemically fused to an expanded steel core
  • Exceptional heat resistance for extreme exhaust temperatures
  • Excellent load retention maintains seal integrity over time

Performance Features:

  • 50% recovery rate allows gasket expansion if header bolt torque is lost
  • 1.50" x 2.10" port size for proper exhaust flow
  • Unmatched sealing performance prevents exhaust leaks
  • Durable construction withstands thermal cycling

This gasket set provides the reliable sealing performance needed for street and performance applications on Ford big-block engines. The advanced composite design ensures long-lasting durability and peace of mind.
