Edelbrock 8724 Carburetor Spacer Open Center 1/2 Inch Thick

The Edelbrock 8724 carburetor spacer features an open center design ideal for single-plane intake manifolds. This 1/2-inch thick spacer is constructed from wood fiber laminate material, which provides superior heat insulation properties to reduce heat transfer from the intake manifold to the carburetor, helping maintain cooler fuel temperatures and improving performance.

Key Features:

• Open center design for single-plane intake manifolds
• 1/2-inch thickness for optimal plenum volume increase
• Wood fiber laminate construction for excellent heat insulation
• Reduces heat transfer to carburetor for improved fuel atomization
• Standard 4-barrel carburetor mounting pattern

Carburetor spacers increase the distance between the carburetor and intake manifold, which can improve air/fuel distribution and throttle response. The open center configuration on the 8724 is specifically engineered for single-plane manifolds, while the heat-resistant laminate material helps prevent fuel percolation and vapor lock issues common in high-temperature engine bay conditions.
