Engineered Marine Products 84-28032 Marine Ignition Wire Set

The Engineered Marine Products (EMP) 84-28032 is a marine-grade ignition wire set designed as a direct replacement for MerCruiser and compatible GM-based inboard and sterndrive engines. Engineered Marine Products (EMP) specializes in OEM-quality replacement ignition components built to withstand the demanding conditions of the marine environment.

EMP spark plug wire sets are engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications, delivering reliable ignition performance, strong RFI/EMI suppression, and resistance to the heat, moisture, and vibration inherent in marine engine applications.

Key Features:

• Marine-grade construction designed for MerCruiser and compatible GM marinized engines
• High-temperature silicone jacketing and boots resist heat, moisture, and engine compartment chemicals
• Suppression-core conductor design minimizes radio frequency interference (RFI) with onboard electronics such as GPS, chartplotters, and VHF radios
• Corrosion-resistant terminals engineered for long-term performance in saltwater and freshwater environments
• OE-style boots provide a sealed barrier against heat, dirt, and moisture at spark plug and distributor connections
• Direct OEM replacement — designed to match factory wire routing and length specifications

Replacing worn or degraded ignition wires is a key part of a routine marine tune-up. The EMP 84-28032 ignition wire set restores reliable spark delivery, supporting consistent engine starts and optimal combustion efficiency.
