Interlux InterProtect 2000E is a two-part epoxy barrier coating developed to protect new and used fiberglass hulls from water absorption. It's formulated with Microplates that creates an overlapping water barrier similar to shingles on a roof, providing superior protection against osmotic blistering and water permeation.

Key Features:

  • Microplates formula provides millions of overlapping microscopic plates that create a barrier to eliminate direct water migration paths
  • Excellent adhesion to fiberglass, composite, wood, and metal
  • Ideal for use as a primer for all metals - including aluminum - below or above the waterline
  • Great for repairing gelcoat that has been damaged by osmotic blistering
  • Long overcoating times between coats (up to 2 weeks) adds versatility and timing flexibility
  • Coverage: 240 sq. ft. per gallon
  • Can be applied by spray, brush, or roller

InterProtect 2000E is an excellent 'Keel to Mast' primer, suitable for use above and below the waterline as a universal primer for all surfaces. This white quart kit includes both base and curing agent for complete application.
