The Interlux Micron CSC is a premium copper-based ablative antifouling paint designed to provide multi-season protection against marine fouling organisms on boat hulls. Utilizing advanced Micron Technology with controlled solubility copolymer chemistry, this blue gallon-sized paint delivers superior antifouling performance for fiberglass, wood, and properly primed steel hulls in fresh, salt, and brackish water environments.

Key Features:

  • Ablative formula self-polishes at a controlled rate, minimizing paint buildup and reducing maintenance
  • Contains 37.2% cuprous oxide biocide for effective fouling protection
  • Uses copper more efficiently than traditional high-copper bottom paints
  • Allows boats to be hauled, stored, and relaunched without repainting
  • Covers approximately 440 square feet per gallon
  • Matte blue finish with specific gravity of 1.82 and 58% volume solids
  • VOC rating of 370 g/liter, 3-year typical shelf life

Unlike hard antifouling paints that create excessive buildup over time, Micron CSC wears away like a bar of soap as the boat moves through water, continuously exposing fresh biocide while reducing the need for laborious sanding at haulout. Apply at least two coats for optimal protection. Not suitable for aluminum hulls or underwater aluminum components. Can be applied by brush, roller, or conventional/airless spray methods.
