Product Details

Interlux Trilux 33 is a professional-grade antifouling bottom paint specifically formulated for safe and effective use on aluminum boats, outdrives, and outboards. This versatile marine coating can also be applied to fiberglass, wood, and steel surfaces when properly primed.

Key Features:

  • Dual biocide system: 17% cuprous thiocyanate fights hard growth, plus 3.4% zinc pyrithione (Biolux technology) controls soft slime and algae
  • Multi-season protection for moderate fouling conditions in salt, brackish, or fresh waters
  • Hard ablative formulation ideal for high-speed powerboats with minimal paint buildup over time
  • Bright white color with excellent long-term color stability
  • Coverage: 440 square feet per gallon by brush application
  • 55% solids by volume for superior performance

Application: Can be applied by brush, 3/8-inch nap solvent-resistant roller, or conventional/airless spray. Thin with Special Thinner 216 as needed. Minimum 2 coats recommended (3 coats on bare wood). All metal surfaces must be primed with Interprotect 2000E/2001E or Primocon primer before application.

This tin-free antifouling is the worldwide standard bottom paint for aluminum yacht builders and replaces the original Trilux and Micron 33 formulations.
