Interlux Paint 5608644 Trilux 33 Aerosol Antifouling Paint White

The Interlux Trilux 33 Aerosol Antifouling Paint is specially formulated to be the safest and most effective antifouling product for use on aluminum boats, outdrives and outboards. This special aerosol formulation was developed specifically for use on aluminum outdrives and outboard engine lower units, where it provides effective antifouling in a convenient aerosol. It can also be applied to other underwater metals and is designed for use below the waterline in fresh, salt and brackish waters.

Key Features:

• Offers highly effective antifouling protection from a combination of two agents: aluminum-safe copper I thiocyanate, and an improved version of Biolux® anti-slime technology
• Very hard ablative formulation makes it especially suitable for high speed boats – protects all season while very slowly wearing away so there is minimal paint build-up over the years
• One can covers approximately 22 sq.ft. (one lower unit)
• Cuprous thiocyanate biocide creates bright, crisp colors, including white
• Drying time: To touch 30 to 45 minutes, overcoating 4 to 16 hours, to launch 8 to 24 hours

Application:

Trilux 33 Aerosol can be used as an antifouling on outdrives and outboards below the waterline after cleaning with Special Thinner 216, sanding with 80 grit sandpaper, priming with 2-3 coats of Primacon Primer, and then applying several coats of Trilux 33 Aerosol. Two or more coats are recommended for optimal protection. Metal surfaces must be properly primed before application.
