Whitecap Industries S4085P Wire Rope Thimble for 1/2" Rope Stainless Steel

The Whitecap Industries S4085P is a heavy-duty stainless steel wire rope thimble designed for use with 1/2 inch diameter synthetic rope. This essential rigging hardware provides critical protection for rope eyes by preventing wear and maintaining the rope's proper radius when forming loops around shackles, hooks, or other connection points.

Key Features:

• Precision-formed for 1/2 inch diameter synthetic rope
• Marine-grade stainless steel construction resists corrosion in harsh saltwater environments
• Smooth, polished finish prevents rope chafing and fiber damage
• Maintains proper rope eye geometry under load
• Extends rope service life by distributing stress evenly

Wire rope thimbles are indispensable for marine, industrial, and commercial rigging applications where rope integrity and safety are paramount. By installing this thimble inside a rope eye splice, you create a reinforced connection point that prevents the rope from kinking, crushing, or abrading when attached to hardware. The stainless steel construction ensures long-lasting performance in demanding marine and outdoor environments.
