NewMar PX2 Waterproof Junction Box Medium 6-Position IP55 Rated

The NewMar PX2 waterproof junction box is engineered for reliable marine electrical connections above or below deck, even in areas exposed to occasional spray and harsh conditions. Constructed from rugged, non-corrosive high-impact polypropylene, this medium-sized junction box delivers durability and protection in demanding marine environments.

Key Features:

• IP55 waterproof rating protects against water jets from any direction
• Two pre-installed 6-position connector strips with screw compression terminals
• ABYC-compliant design with brass barrels and stainless steel compression fingers that secure wires without direct screw contact, preventing strand damage
• Snap-on cover provides watertight seal for complete protection
• Seven universal cut-to-fit graduated cable entries accommodate wire diameters from 0.14" to 0.81" (3.5mm to 20.5mm)
• Multiple conduit knockouts for flexible installation options
• Tool-free wire termination without lugs simplifies installation
• Accommodates wire gauges up to 16 AWG maximum

The PX2's molded nylon connector strips feature an innovative compression design where brass barrels capture wires and stainless steel "fingers" apply pressure, ensuring the terminal screws never contact the copper strands. This superior design prevents wire cuts and breakage while meeting all ABYC electrical standards. Compact dimensions of 3.35" x 3.35" x 1.66" make this junction box ideal for space-constrained installations in boats, RVs, and marine applications.
