NewMar PX3 Waterproof Junction Box with Connector Strips

The NewMar PX-3 is a waterproof junction box designed for marine electrical installations above or below decks, even in areas exposed to occasional spray. Constructed from rugged, non-corrosive, high-impact polypropylene, this junction box provides reliable protection for wiring connections in harsh marine environments.

Pre-Installed Connector Strips:

The PX-3 includes two 9-position connector strips with screw compression wire terminals that secure wires without requiring lugs. These molded nylon connectors feature brass barrels that capture wires, held in place by a stainless steel "finger" compressed by a screw. This design protects copper strands from cuts and breakage while meeting ABYC standards, as the screw never makes direct contact with the wire.

Key Features:

• High-impact polypropylene construction resists corrosion and withstands marine conditions
• Snap-on cover creates a watertight seal for reliable protection
• Seven universal cut-to-fit graduated cable entries accommodate wire diameters from 0.14" to 0.99" (3.5mm to 25.5mm)
• Two 9-position connector strips accept wire up to 16 AWG
• Multiple knockout ports provided for optional conduit access
• IP55 waterproof rating protects against water jets from any direction

Specifications:

• Connector Strips: 2 strips, 9 positions each
• Maximum Wire Gauge: 16 AWG
