Product Details

The Johnson Pumps F8B-50017 is a heavy-duty flexible impeller pump that provides an efficient solution for raw water pumping needs. This self-priming pump can pass fairly large solids without clogging or damaging the pump, making it a high output unit with exceptional performance capability.

Key Features:

  • Bronze pump body with connection for vacuum switch
  • Neoprene impeller (09-819B)
  • Stainless steel shaft mounted with permanently lubricated double ball bearings
  • Mechanical seal with full or reduced cam
  • 1-1/2" NPT ports with 63.7 GPM capacity at 1750 RPM
  • 12V electro-magnetic clutch with 1xB pulley
  • Replaces Jabsco 6400-0004

With the electro-magnetic clutch, you have pumping power at the push of a button without being at the pump. The clutch pulley spins freely when the engine is running, and when you switch the pump on, the electric clutch engages and the spinning pulley starts turning the pump. When combined with a vacuum switch (recommended for bilge applications), the clutch will automatically disengage when the pump starts priming air, preventing dry running and pump damage.

Typical marine applications include bilge pumping, wash-down for decks and equipment, emergency engine cooling, emergency fire pump, and fish washing. Wearing parts are easily replaceable and service kits are available for all standard models.

So far so good. Order just placed. Easy checkout.
