The Advanced Adhesive Technologies AAT-290 is a professional-grade, water-based adhesive specifically formulated for the installation of synthetic turf and grass carpets in both indoor and outdoor applications. This solvent-free, non-flammable formula provides a safe alternative where flammable products pose fire risks or where solvent fumes are unwanted.

Recommended Applications:

• Synthetic turf with ActionBac, Unibond, and other woven polypropylene backings
• Grass carpets with closed-cell urethane foam backings (Enhancer, Durafoam, Uralon)
• Marine and exterior grade plywood, APA plywood underlayment
• Asphalt paving and concrete surfaces (when properly prepared)
• Fiberglass and aluminum substrates when lightly abraded

Installation Notes:

Allow 10-15 minutes open time before placing carpet. Temperature, humidity, and wind speed will affect tack and working time. Roll completed installation in multiple directions to ensure proper adhesive transfer. For best results, use AAT-125 Seam Adhesive to seal seams and edges. Very porous sub-floors should be primed with AAT-570 Primer. Not recommended for pure vinyl-backed sheet goods.
