Interlux Ultra-Kote is a hard, durable, high-performance antifouling paint designed for use in moderate to severe fouling areas, providing excellent long-term protection from shell fouling such as barnacles. This professional-grade marine bottom paint features a very high 67.5% cuprous oxide content for superior antifouling performance.

Key Features:

  • Fast-drying formula allows you to paint and launch in the same day
  • Hard, durable, scrubbable finish with excellent color stability
  • Low VOC formulation (327 g/l) limits solvent emissions
  • Compatible with most other antifoulings and perfect for brush/roller and airless spray methods
  • Coverage: 506 sq. ft. per gallon
  • 63% volume solids with matte finish

Ultra-Kote can be used on fiberglass, wood, or properly primed steel or lead, and is suitable for use in fresh water, salt water, and brackish water. This high-performance bottom paint is ideal for powerboats and racing vessels that demand a smooth, efficient hull. Note: Do not use on aluminum hulls, outdrives or outboards.

Application: Touch dry in 1 hour, launch in 8 hours at 73°F. Apply 2 coats minimum, 3 coats on bare wood (first coat thinned). Thin with Special Thinner 216 or Brush Ease 433 only if necessary, no more than 10%.
