Factor 55 0037503 Flat Splicer 3/8-1/2" Synthetic Rope Shackle Mount - Yellow

The Factor 55 Flat Splicer is the world's first splice-on folding winch rope shackle mount thimble designed for synthetic winch lines. This innovative recovery accessory creates a permanent, low-profile connection point that eliminates the bulk of traditional fixed thimbles while maintaining full strength and flexibility.

Key Features:

• Compatible with 3/8" to 1/2" diameter synthetic winch rope
• Splice-on installation creates a permanent, secure connection
• Folding design allows the shackle mount to lay flat when not in use
• Integrated EPDM rubber pads protect your fairlead from metal-on-metal contact
• Connects to both the pin end and bow end of standard 3/4" screw pin shackles
• High-visibility yellow finish for easy identification
• CNC-machined from aerospace-grade aluminum for strength and durability

The Flat Splicer's unique folding design reduces snagging on obstacles during recovery operations and allows your winch line to spool more evenly on the drum. The integrated rubber fairlead protection pads prevent damage to your hawse fairlead while the rope is under load, extending the life of both your fairlead and synthetic line.
