Product Details

The Martyr Anodes CM67C4525100Z is a zinc sacrificial anode designed to provide cathodic protection for the lower unit of Parsun T40 two-stroke outboard motors. By corroding preferentially in place of critical metal components, this anode shields the lower unit gearcase from galvanic corrosion damage in saltwater environments.

Manufactured by Canada Metal (Pacific) Ltd. under the trusted Martyr Anodes brand, this anode is produced to meet or exceed U.S. Military specifications for alloy purity and performance. The zinc alloy formulation makes it the ideal choice for saltwater use, where it remains active and sacrificial without passivating.

Key Features:

  • Zinc alloy construction — optimized for saltwater corrosion protection
  • Meets or exceeds U.S. Military specifications for sacrificial anode alloys
  • Direct replacement for Parsun OEM part number T40-0009
  • Cross-references to Yamaha OEM part number 67C-45251-00 / 63D-45251-10
  • Protects lower unit gearcase components from galvanic corrosion
  • Drop-in fit with no modification required

Inspect anodes each season and replace when approximately 50% consumed. This zinc anode is recommended for saltwater use only; aluminum anodes are available for brackish water applications.
