Product Details

The Quicksilver 991764 cylinder block exhaust plate gasket is a genuine OEM replacement component engineered for reliable sealing in demanding marine environments. This critical gasket creates a leak-proof seal between the cylinder block and exhaust plate, preventing exhaust gases and water intrusion that can damage internal engine components.

Key Features:

  • Genuine Quicksilver OEM part for precise fit and long-lasting performance
  • Designed specifically for Mercury and Mariner 2-stroke outboards ranging from 105-220 horsepower
  • Compatible with 2.5L engine configurations including Laser, EFI, DFI, Jet, Pro XS, XR-6, Magnum II & III, MAG, XRI, and XR-4 models
  • Constructed from marine-grade gasket material resistant to heat, pressure, and saltwater corrosion
  • Simple installation using standard shop tools

This gasket is an essential maintenance item during engine rebuilds, exhaust system repairs, or when addressing performance issues related to exhaust leaks. Always consult your engine's service manual, parts catalog, or owner's manual to verify compatibility with your specific outboard model and serial number before installation.
