Pettit Aluma Protect 4400/4401 is a two-part strontium chromate epoxy primer designed to form an ideal barrier coat over roughened bare aluminum. This high-performance primer is engineered for all aluminum surfaces, providing maximum corrosion protection for aluminum hulls, outdrives, and pontoon boats.

• Designed for use when aluminum has been sandblasted, sanded, or ground to create a bonding "tooth"
• Easy 1:1 mix ratio by volume for simple application
• Provides maximum resistance to fresh and salt water, eliminating corrosion
• Resists water, industrial chemical fumes, and very humid environments
• Bright yellow color with coverage of approximately 300 square feet per 3/4 gallon kit
• May be applied by brush, roller, conventional or airless spray
• Cure time to overcoat: 1-8 hours; to launch: 48-120 hours

AlumaProtect 4400/4401 will chalk if not topcoated. For optimal results, overcoat with Pettit Protect 4700/4701 before finishing with antifouling paint. This complete kit includes both Part A (base) and Part B (activator) components for a professional aluminum protection system.
