The Pacer Performance TE10-8R-100 is a professional-grade heat shrink ring terminal designed for secure, weather-resistant electrical connections. This 100-piece pack features tinned copper terminals that accommodate 12-10 AWG wire and fit #8 stud sizes, making them ideal for automotive, marine, RV, and powersports wiring applications.
Key Features:
- Tinned copper construction prevents corrosion and ensures optimal conductivity
- Heat shrink insulation creates waterproof, strain-relieved connections
- Rated for 600 volts with wide temperature range (-55°C to 125°C)
- Yellow color-coding for easy wire gauge identification
- Ring design prevents accidental disconnection from stud
- Terminal pad width: 0.39 inches
Why Ring Terminals:
Ring terminals provide the most secure connection for electrical wiring. Unlike spade or quick-disconnect terminals, the closed ring design fits completely around the mounting stud, eliminating any possibility of vibration-induced disconnection. The heat shrink sleeve adds an extra layer of protection by sealing out moisture, dirt, and contaminants while providing strain relief at the wire connection point.
Applications:
Perfect for battery connections, ground points, starter motors, alternators, marine electronics, trailer wiring, and any application requiring a dependable, long-lasting electrical connection. The heat shrink feature makes these terminals especially suitable for exposed or harsh-environment installations.
