Raritan Engineering RPA Reverse Polarity Alarm for Marine Shore Power

The Raritan Engineering RPA Reverse Polarity Alarm is an essential safety device for boaters connecting to dockside shore power. This alarm monitors AC electrical connections to detect dangerous reverse polarity conditions where hot and neutral wires are incorrectly switched at the marina outlet.

Key Features:

• Audible alarm immediately alerts you to reversed polarity conditions
• Protects against improperly wired shore power outlets
• Essential safety equipment for traveling boaters using unfamiliar marinas
• Works with standard 120-volt AC shore power connections
• Easy installation on marine AC electrical systems

Marina electrical wiring quality varies significantly from dock to dock, making polarity verification critical for safety. Without detection, reversed polarity can create shock hazards and damage to onboard electronics. This alarm provides peace of mind by continuously monitoring your shore power connection and warning you before connecting to an improperly wired outlet.
