The Balmar 48YSP4JHE AltMount® Serpentine Pulley Conversion Kit is specifically engineered for Yanmar 4JH2-TE, 4JH2-HTE, 4JH2-DTE, and 4JH2-UTE marine diesel engines. This patented conversion system provides a superior alternative to traditional single vee pulleys, enabling the use of high-output Balmar alternators while improving power transfer efficiency and reducing engine noise and vibration.

Traditional single vee pulleys can only support alternator power loads up to 100A for 12V applications, while serpentine pulley systems provide the increased surface contact needed for much higher power transfer requirements. Note that if using an AT-200A alternator, a longer belt length may be required.
