Advanced Barrier Technology:

This hose features Trident's unique fluoroplastic "Barrier Liner" on the inside surface of the tube, preventing fuel from making direct contact with the rubber body. This design greatly reduces fuel permeation and prevents ethanol degradation of the rubber tube, which can cause small pieces of rubber to reach and damage the engine.
