The Lectrotab XKA12X24A is a complete trim tab system featuring 12" x 24" aluminum alloy tabs designed for boats 28 to 48 feet in length. This system is specifically engineered to meet the needs of aluminum hulled boats while providing an economical solution for all boat types.

Advanced Actuator Technology:

Each kit includes two precision-engineered electric actuators that deliver quiet, maintenance-free operation without hydraulics. The actuators are housed in non-metallic, permanently sealed housings that eliminate corrosion concerns and require no internal boat installation. Unlike hydraulic systems, there is no oil to leak or maintain. The actuators feature an internal brake system that prevents unwanted tab movement when underway or backing down, and are fully load tested to push 1000 lbs of force.

Durable Construction:

The tabs are fabricated from marine grade 6005-T5 aluminum alloy with strength equivalent to 10 gauge stainless steel. All tabs are sealed with a corrosion-resistant epoxy coating for long-term protection. The extremely strong polypropylene hinge has been tested over 300,000 cycles to a 90° bend without failure. The upper ram seal location is protected from damage caused by fouling or barnacle growth, and the system utilizes internal pressure equalization for reliable performance.
