The Lectrotab XKA9X9 is a complete electric trim tab system designed for boats 14 to 19 feet in length. This non-hydraulic system features 9" x 9" stainless steel tabs with precision electric actuators for smooth, quiet operation and maintenance-free performance.
Advanced Stainless Steel Construction:
Each trim tab is fabricated from 12-gauge 304 stainless steel with a continuous rolled and pinned hinge design that eliminates welding for superior strength and durability. This construction method provides exceptional reliability in marine environments while preventing common failure points associated with welded assemblies.
Precision Electric Actuators:
The system includes two 12V electric actuators with 2.25" stroke length, each capable of pushing 1,000 lbs of force. The actuators feature a non-metallic permanently sealed housing that requires no internal boat installation. An internal brake system prevents unwanted tab movement when underway or backing down, while the internal pressure equalization system protects critical components.
