This complete kit features marine-grade 6005-T5 aluminum alloy tabs with a corrosion-resistant epoxy coating and an innovative "no-break" polypropylene hinge that has been tested over 300,000 cycles to a 90-degree bend without failure, delivering equivalent strength to 10-gauge stainless steel.

The precision-engineered actuators combine quiet operation with a non-hydraulic, maintenance-free design. Each actuator is fully load tested to push 1000 lbs of force and features a non-metallic, permanently sealed housing that cannot corrode or deteriorate in sun or underwater conditions. Unlike hydraulic trim tabs, there is no oil to leak, and the upper ram seal location is protected from damage caused by fouled rams or barnacle growth. An internal brake system prevents unwanted tab movement when underway or backing down, while an internal pressure equalization system ensures reliable performance.
