This complete kit combines corrosion-resistant 9" x 12" aluminum alloy trim tabs with precision electric actuators and an advanced MLC-1 microprocessor control system for effortless operation.
Engineered specifically for aluminum hulls, these marine-grade 6005-T5 aluminum alloy tabs feature an extremely strong "no-break" polypropylene hinge that has been cycle-tested over 300,000 times to 90-degree bends without failure. All tabs are sealed with a corrosion-resistant epoxy coating for maximum durability in harsh marine environments, offering strength equivalent to 10-gauge stainless steel.
The electric actuator system provides quiet, maintenance-free operation with no hydraulic oil to leak or service. Each actuator pushes up to 1,000 lbs of force through a 2.25" stroke length and features an internal brake system that prevents unwanted tab movement while underway or backing down. The non-metallic, permanently sealed housing contains all components externally—no installation required inside the boat. An internal pressure equalization system and upper ram seal location protect against damage from fouling or barnacle growth.
